Scrunchies, scrunchies, scrunchies

Back at the sewing machine!

It has been far too long since I have sat at my machines. Thankfully, I didn't lose my ability; in some ways, it felt like no time had passed. I didn't want to jump into anything major or very time-consuming so I cut a bunch of scrunchies and sewed until I felt like stopping. A few hours a day over a 3-day period, we now have 31 scrunchies. After the kids got into them, I have 27 left to sell; 2 that were customized with DTG heat press.

DTG stands for direct-to-garment. It is a vinyl that is pressed to the fabric at temperatures around 190 degrees Celsius and up. It's hot but it was exciting!

Thanks to a friend's sense of humour and some trial runs with the vinyl cutting and heat press process, we have a white scrunchie that reads "I'M NOT NICE!!!" and a blue one that says "BUT MOMMY!!!"

I have added Mystery Scrunchies to the cart for now until I can find the time to add the different prints and amounts in inventory to the store. They will be $4 each or 3 for $10.

I am looking forward to some more sewing over the next week or so.

Happy Tuesday!
