He's Turning One
My girlfriend's son is turning one today and I decided to make him a diy present to go with his toy car and track. Mama and dada both love Disney - especially Mickey - so a Mickey themed crib quilt it was going to be. I had never made a quilt before and terms like "stitching in the ditch" and "walking foot" were a little intimidating, but after reading a quilting article and watching a YouTube video I was ready to try. I think I did pretty good for my first attempt and my girlfriend and her son LOVE it! :-D
