A BIT ABOUT ME

My Story

Mommy's Lucky Penny started when I was pregnant with my first daughter at 26 years old. I was excited to be a mommy and a happy newlywed trying to keep myself occupied when not working. After overfilling our home with my little DIY projects/crafts my (then) hubby finally said: "I think it's time to give some of these items new homes; give them away or sell them, please." I totally saw where he was coming from - haha - and so I started this Mommy's Lucky Penny Site.

After a few years of not being able to sew when I wanted to, I have restarted sewing and started a new journey. Two years ago my 2 daughters - at the time 6 and 3 - and I moved further North and I have jumped back into my passion of sewing, crafting and creating. I have really enjoyed my little mini-mes helping with all my projects. They really enjoy designing the DTG designs. Thanks for browsing and reading and I hope that you will enjoy my handmade items as much as I enjoy making them.

My life is crazy busy these days. Between full-time momming, full-time work and a full-time university course load, we never stop. That being said, I wouldn't change my life with my girls for anything in this world! Although I do wish I had a little more time to read my naughty novels. Haha
